The National Intervention and Consultation Centre for Victims of Human Trafficking is a public task commissioned by the Minister of the Interior and Administration and financed from the State budget. In 2023, they are carried out by the La Strada Foundation and the PoPower Association.

Prevention of trafficking in human beings and protection from exploitation: guidance and support for refugees from Ukraine

The project was implemented from 1 July to 30 November 2022 and co-financed by the Polish-American Freedom Foundation as part of the „We Support Ukraine” program implemented by the Education for Democracy Foundation.

As part of the project, telephone counselling for refugees from Ukraine is being conducted. Counselling is primarily about taking up a job in Poland, but also about the possibility of getting help outside of Poland.

Specialist counselling for victims and alleged victims of trafficking in human beings

The project was implemented from June to August 2022, offering specialist legal, psychological and social counselling for Polish and foreign victims and alleged victims of human trafficking.

National Intervention and Consultation Centre for Victims of Human Trafficking (KCIK)

KCIK is a response to the needs of people who are or may be victims of human trafficking, both Polish citizens and foreigners. The task is to ensure access to appropriate services and the fulfilment of the rights of victims of trafficking in human beings. The National Centre has been operating continuously since 2009.
